# AutoPause for YouTube

> Free Chrome extension (v2.1.0, updated 2026-09-30). It pauses YouTube when you switch tabs, resumes when you return, and automatically skips "Video paused. Continue watching?" on YouTube and "Still listening?" on YouTube Music, in any interface language. It runs only on youtube.com and music.youtube.com. Its only other permission is storage. No tracking, no account, no servers. By Sohaib Saqib.
