Offline Game HubPrivacy Policy
The short version
- We don't collect personal information. No names, emails, accounts or logins.
- No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no cookies.
- The extension makes no network requests. Everything runs on your device.
- Your game progress stays on your device, and you can delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
Offline Game Hub ("we", "us") is an independent project that makes a free collection of mini-games for Google Chrome. If you have questions about this policy, email saqibsohaib48@gmail.com.
2. Information the extension stores
To remember your progress, the extension saves a small amount of game data using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data is stored only in your browser on your device:
- Best scores for each game
- Favorite games and recently played games
- Play statistics (for example, total games played) and unlocked achievements
- Your settings (theme, sound and animation preferences)
This data is never sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see it, and it isn't linked to your identity.
3. Permissions
The extension requests a single permission, storage, which it uses only for the local game data described above. It does not request access to your browsing history, tabs, websites you visit or any other data.
4. No network activity
All games, graphics and sounds are packaged inside the extension or generated on your device. The extension's security settings (Content Security Policy) block any remote code, and the extension does not connect to any server.
5. This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising on this site, and all fonts and images are served from the site itself. Like most web hosts, GitHub may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure its service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.
The playable web version of the games saves your scores and settings in your browser's localStorage on your device. It can also store the game files in your browser's cache so you can play offline. None of this is sent to us.
6. Sharing and selling data
We do not collect personal data, so we have nothing to sell, rent or share with third parties.
7. Children's privacy
Offline Game Hub is suitable for a general audience. Because we don't collect any personal information, we don't knowingly collect information from children.
8. Deleting your data
- In the extension or web version: open Settings (⚙️) → Your data → Reset all data.
- Uninstalling the extension removes all of its stored data from Chrome.
- For the web version, you can also clear this site's data in your browser settings.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
