Privacy policy

Effective and last updated: September 26, 2026

In short: Lullpage does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Everything happens on your own device, and nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else.

1. Who we are

Lullpage (formerly "Color Reader") is a free browser extension made by Sohaib Saqib, an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the Lullpage extension and this website handle information. Contact: saqibsohaib48@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

None. Lullpage does not collect personally identifiable information, authentication information, financial or payment information, health information, personal communications, location, web history, user activity (such as clicks, keystrokes or mouse movements) or website content.

3. What the extension stores on your device

To remember your preferences, Lullpage saves the following only on your computer, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session APIs:

This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not synced to any server we control. If you export a backup file, that file is saved where you choose and stays under your control.

4. How the extension works with web pages

To apply a theme, Lullpage runs on the pages you visit and reads the colors of page elements (for example, "this background is white") so it can decide what to recolor. It does not read, save or transmit the text, images, form entries or any other content of the pages, and it runs entirely on your device.

5. Network requests, analytics and ads

The Lullpage extension makes no network requests. It contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no remote code. It works fully offline.

6. Permissions and why we need them

PermissionWhy Lullpage needs it
storageSaves your settings on your device.
scriptingApplies your chosen color stylesheet to web pages, including sites with strict security rules.
Access to all websitesLets you use a theme on any website you visit. Lullpage only changes colors, fonts and spacing.

7. Sharing and selling data

We do not sell, rent, transfer or share any user data with third parties, because we don't collect any. We do not use or transfer data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes, or for any purpose unrelated to Lullpage's single purpose of recoloring websites.

8. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

The use of information by Lullpage complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts here. GitHub, as the host, may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and reliability; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

10. Children's privacy

Lullpage does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

11. Your choices and deleting your data

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the changelog. If Lullpage ever needs to handle data differently, we will ask for your consent first.
